About Me
Mira, here! Written introductions are a little bit new for me, so I will try my best to cover the bases. Let’s go.
A true Michigan native, I have lived here all my life. Growing up about 20 minutes away from Ann Arbor in Northville, Michigan has always been my hoMe. Currently, I am a junior in the business school specializing in finance. Although I will be entering the world of financial services post-graduation, I promise I am much more than your typical Ross student.
Outside of the business school, I love to travel, work out, and watch romantic comedies (ever seen the movie Something Borrowed? Highly recommend). I also love trying new foods, and I enjoy checking out the Ann Arbor food scene. Favorite restaurants include Prickly Pear, Sava's, and Frita Batidos.
Over the past few months, I made it a point to write more. Journaling every day during the past summer, writing became a part of my daily routine. Writing is liberating, and I will always recommend it to anyone looking to become more introspective (makes sense since I am a #writingminor). As a political buff, I immediately knew when given this project exactly what topic I would write about. I thought to myself "what is more polarizing, difficult to process, and overall insane than the 2016 Presidential election?" Nothing. So why not write about it?
Whether you are here just to take a glance or peruse meticulously through each piece of my writing, take everything I say with a grain of salt. I know I have a lot to learn, but here is where my head is at right now. Enjoy!
